New Appointments
Foster Leighton has always been a technology led Company, and this has been an increasing trend over the past few years with the introduction of on-line services and in particular, the migration of our main policy record and accounting system to the Insight Application Service Provider environment.
Information systems will continue to play a vital role in our business and the Board of Directors realise the importance of having someone with expertise in this area among their number. Accordingly, they have invited David Liggins, our current Information Systems Manager to join the Board. David will also bring his Financial Services knowledge to further strengthen our position in that field. FSA approval for the appointment has been sought and received, effective from the 1st January 2007.
As a result of David’s appointment, the Board have also decided to promote Andy Sweet to the position of Manager, Private Client Team, also effective from the 1st January 2007.
